Q. How much does TSP charge per year and when does the money get taken out?

A. The expenses are figured out after the year is complete. The most recently published expense ratio for the TSP is 0.029 percent, or 2.9 one-hundredths of one percent (“basis points”) per year. The expenses are accrued and reflected in the fund share prices on a daily basis.
