Q. I am a CSRS offset employee. When I turn 62 I can collect my Social Security. However, my Social Security will be WEP. My husband works in corporate business. My question is if I collect on my husband’s Social Security, will it be WEP?
A. The WEP applies only to Social Security benefits you receive based on your own work record.
