L Funds

Q. Currently I have the L Funds (2020) and I’m in FERS. I plan to retire in three years at age 62. What do you recommend for allocations choices?

A. As in the past, I continue to recommend that, if you don’t know what to do and want to try to support the maximum safe lifetime withdrawal rate from your account in retirement, you should consider putting your TSP money into the L Fund that most closely corresponds to your life expectancy.
